President's Message February 2022

Winter is squarely upon us. When the weather folks use terminology like snowstorm, blizzard warning, and bomb-cyclone, you know it’s best to hunker-down in place. It’s also worthwhile to remember that winter will pass.

Speaking of better weather ahead, summer will be back, and with it comes our first in-person conference since 2019! You can count on San Diego weather being perfect! Here is the response to last month’s Pulse Survey. (n=19)

1)      What is most appealing to you about the July 2022 annual conference in San Diego?  (choose all that apply)

  1. Networking/Socializing with Peers        24%
  2. San Diego location and attractions         24%
  3. Breakout Session (Attending)                    22%

  1.  High                     84.2%
  2. Medium             15.8%

3)      What factors affect your ability to attend the SD conference? (choose all that apply)

Many of us are in the midst of our busy season, and pivoting and adapting have become a matter of course. Keep up the amazing work you’re doing!

But also remember to take care of yourself. Don’t miss this month’s Winter Meet-up to connect with peers and make time for self-care. See you on the 15th!
