President's Message July 2021Greetings, I hope that you are gradually feeling a sense of normalcy emerging, accompanied by positive aspects of the “new normal”. Are you engaged in conversation within your organization about the future of work as it relates to staff schedules and hosting alumni events? A positive outcome from the last 18 months is the shift to successful remote work. For many organizations, productivity and work/life balance were increased and improved. Alumni are telling us that they would like to continue to work remotely. How are we advising both job seekers and hiring managers on changing the landscape of work? The possibility of diversifying the talent pool for remote positions by expanding searches geographically is exciting, as is coaching our alumni in branding themselves as candidates that thrive in a remote setting. The world is ever changing, and we as an organization want to support your professional development and organizational success. I hope that you have all registered for the upcoming ACSN 2021 Annual Conference on July 26-28, where we can exchange ideas and shape the course of our industry.
