How can you elevate the voices of your alumni body in a way that is helpful and entertaining? It all starts with a good story. We'll go over some foundations of identifying and telling good stories (professional and personal).

We will cover:

1. What makes a good story?
2. Where do you find good stories?
3. How can you involve alumni (and other members of your community) in the process

We'll use case studies and practice a technique or two. By the end, you will be able to determine and to describe what makes a good story and take away a summary of best practices.

About the Presenter
Robert is the co-founder and owner of University FM. His passion for podcasting began in college, where he spent every moment outside of class in a radio station tucked away in the basement corner of the student activities building. Robert now partners with educational institutions to create podcast shows that are purposeful, educational, and entertaining. He and his team collaborate with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and leadership to produce a variety of shows that support strategic plans. These institutions include UC Berkeley, Rice University, and Stanford University.
