Membership Categories
- Alumni Career Services Professional: This is the primary membership type for ACSN, for those working directly to provide career services to alumni at an institution of higher education.
- Academic Professional: Those working at an institution of higher education who do not meet the requirements for Professional Individual membership. Those who have retired from the field of alumni career services also fall in this category.

Alumni Career Services Professional
Eligibility
- Employed (full- or part-time) by an institution of higher education.
- Devote a minimum of 10% (if full-time) or 50% (if part-time) in the direct delivery of career services to the institution’s alumni (includes, but not limited to: career counseling, networking/career events, employer development, career education and information delivery).

- Access to all recorded webinars.
- Advanced registration for annual and regional conferences. Discounts may be offered for annual conferences.
- Access to Member Directory and Shared Resources from fellow members.
- Participate as a mentor or mentee in our Peer-to-Peer Mentor Program.
- Access to Member Benchmarking Statistics, which are based on survey responses from ACSN members. Issued yearly, this data will help you provide justification for and benchmark your programs and services against those of member institutions.
- Partnership in regional events for alumni (example here).
- Opportunities to engage with ACSN Preferred Partners.
- Only those with this membership type will be eligible to vote in annual elections and serve on the Board.
- First invited to offer presentations at annual and regional conferences. (The conference planning committee has full discretion to decide whether other member categories will be invited to submit speaking proposals.)
Annual Membership Fee: $149

Eligibility

- Those who have retired from the field of alumni career services also fall in this category.
Examples
- Head of Career Services, Advancement, Alumni Relations, an Alumni Association, etc. who manages employee(s) who provide career services to alumni
- Person who works in a role that supports alumni career services colleagues at the same institution, but does not provide career services or career programming to alumni
- Higher education employee of a school that is considering starting an alumni career services program

Eligibility
- Primarily for graduate students currently enrolled in a post-bachelor level program with an intent to enter the field of alumni career services, but open to all students.
- The individual’s primary role is graduate student.
- Currently working in the field of alumni career services.
- Must be sponsored by an office that provides career services to alumni.
